✅ Course on Computer Concepts (CCC) – NIELIT
Introduction

The CCC course is a basic computer literacy program designed by NIELIT, under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India. It aims to equip individuals with essential knowledge of computers and digital tools, making them digitally literate and enhancing their employability.

Duration
  • Course Duration: 80 Hours (typically 2–3 months)
  • Mode: Classroom training / Online learning (via NIELIT or recognized institutes)

Exam Schedule

The CCC exams are conducted every month by NIELIT.

Certification
  • After successfully passing the exam, candidates receive a digitally signed certificate from NIELIT.
  • The exam is conducted online with objective-type questions (MCQs).
Exam Pattern
  • Mode: Online
  • Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions
  • Passing Marks: 50% (i.e., 50 out of 100)
  • Negative Marking: No

✅ O’ Level Course – NIELIT
Introduction

The ‘O’ Level Course is a Foundation Level IT course under the NIELIT IT Professional Program. It is recognized by the Government of India and is equivalent to a diploma-level course in Computer Applications. This course is ideal for those looking to build a strong foundation in Information Technology for employment in the IT industry or to pursue higher certifications like ‘A’, ‘B’, or ‘C’ levels.

Duration
  • 1 Year (2 Semesters)
  • Total Hours: Approximately 520 hours (theory + practical + project)
  • Mode: Full-time or part-time through NIELIT-accredited institutes

  1. IT Tools and Network Basics
  2. Web Designing and Publishing
  3. Programming and Problem Solving through Python

  1. Internet of Things (IoT) and Its Applications

Eligibility Criteria

1. Direct Candidates (Self-Study):

  • 10+2 qualification or equivalent
  • OR ITI certificate (one year after class 10)
  • Must register directly on the NIELIT portal

2. Accredited Institute Students:

  • Can register through any NIELIT-accredited institute
  • Must fulfill the institute's eligibility requirements (generally 10+2)
Examination Pattern
  • Conducted by NIELIT twice a year: January and July
  • Mode: Online
  • Theory Exams: 100 marks each (Pass mark: 50)
  • Practical Exam: Based on programming and web design modules
  • Project Work: Mandatory for course completion
Practical & Project Work
  • Practical exam is based on lab exercises from all theory subjects
  • Project Work must be completed and submitted under a guide (mandatory for certification)
Certification
  • After successful completion of theory, practicals, and project work, candidates are awarded the ‘O’ Level Certificate by NIELIT
  • The certificate is recognized by Govt. of India for employment in various sectors:
    • Central/State Government jobs
    • Public Sector Undertakings
    • Private companies
